  This location has just what you expect from Schlotzskys. Hot sandwiches, pretty quick service...for me (but not for the guy ahead of me).
  
  If you sign up for their loyalty program, they give you a free sandwich when you sign up and then another one for your birthday.  It is also a punch card for free sandwiches. I tried the brisket sandwich and it's okay.  I agree with Paul R that it does seem to be lacking some meat, part of my sandwich was only cheese and tomato between the jalapeno bread. I think I prefer the original, but having had basically the last quarter of my sandwich meatless, I am thinking of trying their veggie version out of curiosity.  But I didn't leave unhappy because the sandwich was free.  I only paid $2.24 for a small drink.
  
  If you do sign up for the loyalty program, I would recommend not downloading the app; for some reason it wants access to your call records, the contents of your SD card and control of your camera.  That is a little too much access for me.  You won't be able to use the order ahead function, but you can choose the option "I don't have a smartphone" and set up an email account.  You have to do some maneuvering around on their website, but you are still able to get the code or print a coupon for your rewards.
  
  This location has a pretty small parking lot, but you can park on the street to the east.  Paul R said there were no sugar free drinks in the soda fountain, but I was able to get a cherry vanilla diet Dr Pepper.  I guess he didn't see the option on the touch screen marked diet and sugar free.
  
  I did see a guy who was waiting for his food when we arrived and we got our food before him.  He was a little upset because he was in a rush.  I don't like it when it happens to me, so I can see his point.  The cashier apologized and offered him a free drink while he waited.

  So, this is the second time that I have tried to eat at Schlotzsky's....and their card reader is down. Unfortunate for me because I rarely have much more that change in cash.
  It's bad enough that they are not the first place I think of, but when I do remember they are around it would be nice if I could actually indulge in one of their unique sandwiches!
  I guess it will have to wait until the next time! Third time is supposed to be a charm. We'll find out together!

  I was in the area running an errand during lunch and thought I would give them another chance.  I went since there was a line at the drive thru.  I stood at the counter while the worker was leaning on the door way to the kitchen with her back to the dinning room.  I finally said something.  When she came to help me she looked mad that I bothered her.  I ordered sandwich to go.  
  When I got back to my office I discovered that the woman who helped me placed the wrong order and it was not what I asked for.  This seems to be an on going problem with the locations in Albuquerque and will think twice again about going in to eat.

  It's the 4th of July so we called first to make sure they were open. They answered and said they were so we headed over. We sat in the drive thru and they never answered. We tried calling on the phone and they didn't answer. We pulled around to the front and the open sign was turned off and the tables had the chairs on top. We had waited at least 20 minutes in the drive thru, trying to reach out to them. I tried them again on the phone as my husband drove away and they answered! The guy said they were opened and refused to say why they didn't help us while we were there!
  
  Just confirms again that this is the worst location!

  This place has been taking a downward turn for awhile now. Customer service is horrible, prices increased about 50% and food, if they get it right, is meh. Sorry Schlotzsky's, it's been real
